Wyming Brook

Wyming Brook Nature Reserve sits on the western edge of Sheffield in the Peak District. The reserve was once part of the Rivelin Chase hunting grounds for the sole use of the British nobility.

The nature reserve forms part of the Eastern Moors Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Personally, I think the jewels of this reserve are the cascading streams, small waterfalls, and mossy rocks that flow through this woodland ravine but it is also home to a variety of wildlife.

This Peak District location also offers some fabulous views of the Rivelin reservoirs and the city of Sheffield beyond.
